HOPE Stylin’ Clothing Market & Hair Salon

A free clothing market and affordable hair salon at Lakeside HOPE House in Guelph

Person looking at clothing hanging on rack.

When a person gains pride in their appearance, it can help instill the confidence they need to move forward.

HOPE Stylin’ helps members of our community reach their goals by providing the means to look and feel their best.

The program encompasses two unique services: a free clothing market and minimum-cost hair salon staffed by real salon professionals.

Free Clothing Market

Need warm clothes for cold weather? Want to look the part for an upcoming interview or the first day of school?

The HOPE Stylin’ clothing market offers a wide selection of new and gently-used men’s, women’s and children’s clothes in all sizes and styles.

Like our food market, the clothing market looks and feels a lot like a shop, with familiar brands and the freedom to browse at leisure. Our points-based system lets community members choose clothing that suits them while imparting valuable budgeting skills.

HOPE House is open Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM.

Please call us at 519-265-4299 or email reception@lakesidehopehouse.ca to book an appointment with the clothing market.

Free Haircuts for Kids & Affordable Cuts for Everyone

Sometimes, a shave or a haircut can make a world of difference.

The HOPE Stylin’ hair salon is staffed by professional stylists who offer affordable cuts and colours to those who need it.

Community members can receive a fresh haircut, a new hair colour, a professional shave, or all the above!

  • FREE Haircuts for children under 12
  • $2 Haircuts for adults and children over 12
  • $10 Hair colour
