Bundle Up–It’s Cold Out There!

Well it’s that time of year again; time to slip on your running shoes and find your warmest mitts and hat and get ready to walk.

On Saturday, February 22, Guelph will once again participate in the Coldest Night of the Year–a fantastically fun, family-friendly walking fundraiser that raises money for the hungry, homeless and hurting in 64 communities across Canada.

HOPE House has once again been asked to be the host site for this event and we are so excited to get the walk underway—but we need your help.

We want a hoard of walkers moving throughout Guelph, helping raise awareness and funds for this amazing cause and we would love to have you participate alongside us. There is no age limit and you are encouraged to do this with your friends and family; it’s an amazingly fun way to do some great good for this community.

If you would like to be part of this event it’s easy to get started—all you have to do is go to the Coldest Night website and register yourself of your team. We are always looking for those great team captains ready to motivate us as we walk so don’t be shy to sign up as a team captain!

Let’s walk together to and help those who need it most…but bundle up, it’s cold out there!
