RIDE for Refuge: Love, Sweat and Gears
RIDE for Refuge is a fantastically fun, family-friendly bike-a-thon that supports 175+ charities (including HOPE House) who serve the displaced, vulnerable, and exploited across Canada. We gather together as a community to take a stand and help those who need our voices (and our feet) to help raise awareness and financial support.
This year marks 10 years of the RIDE for Refuge—10 years of Love, Sweat, and Gears! Come join us in celebration!
We, at HOPE House, are excited to partner with the RIDE and help raise funds and awareness for so many wonderful organizations that are doing fantastic work both locally and globally.
If you want to be part of this event—to pedal your feet in the support of stopping poverty, injustice, discrimination and exploitation—please see www.rideforrefuge.org and join a team or RIDE as an individual. (*wink wink—feel free to choose HOPE House as your charity of choice)
There is a fundraising component and goal to this—but please don’t let that scare you off. If you know 5-10 people who can support you with $10-20 you are already there! Or challenge yourself to RIDE and fundraise to the maximum—set high goals for yourself and embrace the challenge!
You can also donate and volunteer for the event—whatever you do, get involved in the cause.
We HOPE to see you on RIDE day!
