Sherwin-Williams Transforms HOPE House
HOPE House is delighted to share that we were chosen as this year’s Sherwin-Williams “Paint the Community” beautification project! On Monday, January 22nd and Tuesday, January 23rd, their managers from all over Canada swept in and took over our entire café and lounge! With the help of a generous donation of brand new ladders from Werner Ladder Co, the team worked incredibly hard repainting the primary spaces we use to welcome and build community. But the painting crew didn’t stop there! Their progress was so astoundingly fast, that they also painted the upstairs hallways! In just two days, as you can see, HOPE House has been transformed!
Sherwin-Williams also hired Bite Guelph to cater an incredible feast of lasagna, bread, salads, & cookies on Tuesday for all community members to enjoy in the gym. It was truly a heart and belly warming experience to see 90 HOPE House members, staff and the Sherwin-Williams team come together over a delicious meal! Community building really does happen around the table!
And as if that wasn’t enough, as an official partner of CHL Hockey, the Sherwin-Williams Top Prospect Trophy also found its way into HOPE House, along with Guelph Storm players, their mascot, Stormy, and a Sportsnet film crew! It was a whirlwind couple of days that won’t be forgotten! We are truly grateful for the generosity of Sherwin-Williams! Thank you!
